How do I find journals for a specific discipline?

Answer

There is no single location to find all the journals available for a specific discipline, but there are a number of ways to narrow your search and results down.

If you have a specific journal title in mind, you may check for availability using Journals A-Z. This will provide you a link to the location of a journal whether it be in print or found online.

You can also try selecting a specific subject from the Databases A-Z list to find databases related to your discipline. Some databases are very specific to a single discipline while others are multidisciplinary.

You may also want to use our Research Guides to find librarian recommended databases and search techniques relevant to specific discipline.
