I can't reset MyEBSCOhost account password

I am a student at Bloom and I forgot the password to My EBSCOhost account and I tried resetting the password but it won't let me. Every time I enter a new password, it won't let me confirm it to make the change.

Answer

Try using a different browser and/or clearing your history/cache in the browser you're using. Following are the directions from our Accounts link (on the library website); use either hyperlink, depending on your situation.

Whenever you sign in to any [EBSCOhost] interfaces, you will be able to save search results, persistent links to searches, search alerts, journal alerts, and web pages to your personal MyEBSCO folder. (For more on personal folders, click here.)

If enabled by your institution, you can use your Google account credentials to sign in and create a personal account. To learn more, see: Google Sign In - FAQS

When creating an account in one of EBSCO's COPPA-Compliant interfaces, some MyEBSCO folder functionality is not supported. To learn more, please see: How to Create an EBSCO Account in a COPPA-Compliant Interface

For more detailed instructions, go to any EBSCO database, select Help, then select Personal Account.

If the problem persists, let us know and we'll do more troubleshooting.
