How do I request an article through interlibrary loan?

Answer

The Library does not own all the journals indexed in its databases, so if you find an article that you need, you may obtain it through our Interlibrary Loan service, at no charge to you.

1. Before you request an article through Interlibrary Loan, check to see if the CU Libraries have access to the journal in which your article is found and the year corresponding with your article.  Search Journals A-Z by the Journal Title (not the article title), and see if the journal is available for you.

2. Search for the article title in Search Everything, or in a database that is likely to contain the article you want.  If the full text of the article is not available, this step also enables you to quickly request your article with the "Get It Through Interlibrary Loan" link.

3.You may login to ILLIAD and fill out the form to request the article.
