How do I find articles?

Answer

1.  You can start in Search Everything to search for articles and more across many databases.  Keep in mind that this search will retrieve books, book chapters, and more in addition to articles. You can use limiters within Search Everything to limit your results to articles only. If you are looking for peer-reviewed articles you can check the peer-reviewed box to limit your results further.

2. You may also want to visit our A-Z Databases list to search for articles in one of our subject-specific databases. Subject-specific databases work especially well if your research is focused in one discipline and you only want articles written in a specific area of study, such as Nursing.

3. For additional help finding articles related to your discipline or course, consider consulting the research guides. Librarians have compiled research guides for every discipline taught at Commonwealth, as well as some courses. They provide helpful tips on how to find resources within a specific discipline or for a course assignment.
