Bloomsburg

Andruss Library does not answer queries for genealogical research. However, members of the outside community are welcome to come to the Library and use our resources, which include many local newspapers on microfilm like the Press Enterprise. Our Genealogical Research page provides information on specific resources available in the Andruss Library and online.

The Columbia County Historical and Genealogical Society, located in the Bloomsburg Public Library, does provides a Research Service, and -- for a fee -- will answer research queries. They also provide access to a free, online database which you can search for references to obituaries, marriages, etc. in local newspapers, located on their website on their Search Databases page, using the Search by Name link.
