What is E-Z Borrow and how do I use it to get a book?

E-ZBorrow is a means to search and request books and other media (DVDs, etc.) (no ebooks) from academic libraries in Pennsylvania and several surrounding states.
To use EZ Borrow, perform the following.
- Go to the CU Libraries' Interlibrary Loan page.
- Select E-ZBorrow
- Select Advanced Search
- Enter your title in the Title field, and/or other search terms in the appropriate fields
- Select Search
- Look over the titles that match your search and select one. Edition, paperback, etc. may or may not be important to you. However, selecting an edition that is “held by” more libraries increases the likelihood and speed that your request is filled.
- Select Request
- You will then be prompted to identify "Your Home Institution." Select Commonwealth University of PA
- Select Submit
- You will now need to login with your SSO info.
- You will now need to fill out the Confirm Request form, identify the campus to which the item is to be delivered, and select Confirm Request.
When the book you have requested arrives at the CU Library you specified, you will receive an e-mail notification. If you wish to check on the status of an outstanding request, you may login to E-ZBorrow and click My Account. Although the Library cannot promise a precise turnaround time, requests are normally filled within 3-10 business days.
